Geez!, it's dusty in here! I'd forgotten all about this corner of my building. Well, maybe it's time for a little renovation. Hopefully by the end of January, 1997, this area'll be functional again.
Welcome to my home page. My ISP finally configured the server to be able to handle Shockwave. Hopefully you can tell that from the above demo, even though the above movie isn't working like it should.
I just got a QuickCam and am now using it to see if anyone is lurking behind me. If you see anyone, tell me, they might be trying to kill me.
I see that you're using Mozilla/5.0 AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko; compatible; ClaudeBot/1.0; +claudebot@anthropic.com) and contacting me from 3.144.69.178 on (none). Hopefully, you'll find something you like here. If not, go somewhere else.
My interests include: musically - Melissa Etheridge and Edie Brickell and Indigo Girls, academically - Texas A&M University; artistically - a young artist by the name of David Deen (I've got digital pictures of most of his paintings).
I'm also a nut for science fiction. I've gone to Aggiecon (at Texas A&M ) since 1983. I've been to a couple of Armadillocons (in Austin, Texas) and I went to the 1994 Worldcon in Winnipeg. I'm also going to the 1996 Worldcon in Anaheim (Chelsea Quinn Yarbro will be a guest there!). While at Aggiecon this year, I bought memberships for LoneStarCon2 (the WorldCon in 1997 in San Antonio, Texas). I plan on working in the art show, if they let me and I can get in the training they require.
I'm currently interested in 3 authors in the science fiction genre: Charles deLint (I found a page for him!), Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, and Roger Zelazny. I have to let you know about Martha Wells, who was in charge of the science fiction club (Cepheid Variable) at A&M while I was there. I also like Anne McCaffrey, but am not actively seeking out her books.
I'm also working on a comprehensive listing of all of the periodicals (and the stories in them), as well as the anthologies in which Roger Zelazny's work appeared.
I collect the books written by my 3 favorite authors and I have extensive "want lists" of books and magazines. In my collecting frenzy, I've come across a bunch of 'net book resources that are exceptionally helpful: [an error occurred while processing this directive]
I don't play many computer games, but I really did like Myst and 7th Guest. I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs while waiting for 11th Hour for the Macintosh to be available. I'm also still playing a game of solitaire that came out in the late '80's called Seahaven Towers (it's terribly addictive). I'm not a golfer, but Links Pro is enjoyable enough to make me want to chase a little white ball around a bumpy green field (not!).
Now that Shockwave for Mac is available, I'm just waiting for Java plug-ins for Netscape to be released. It's unpleasant when your favorite platform is snubbed by developers.
